Springfree Trampoline is statistically proven to be the world’s safest trampoline.
The Springfree Trampoline is not just 1% or 2% safer – independent laboratory testing shows our design, which removes all the traditional areas that cause impact in 'old style' designs, is up to 99% safer. All other trampolines sold in the market place are inherently more dangerous by design – despite their overlay of attempted impact attenuation padding.
Quoted data is sourced from the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NIESS) and to compare recent trampoline injury demographics and injury characteristics with those previously published for 1990 - 1995 using the same data source.
By removing the springs and frame from the same plane as the jumping surface and adding a flexible enclosure, Springfree™ Trampoline has eliminated the impact areas that cause 83% of all trampoline injuries. The remaining 17% of recorded trampoline injuries requiring hospitalization are caused by jumper collision. Springfree™ Trampoline uses flexible fiberglass rods to give a soft non-jarring bounce. The rods lie beneath the jumping surface out of harms way. Traditional trampolines have springs that give a harsh, jolting bounce, and despite safety pads can still injure.
Springfree™ Trampoline's frame is well beneath the jumping surface. You can't hit it, period. On traditional trampolines the frame is a hazard to jumpers, being the same height as the mat.
Springfree™ Trampoline has a SoftEdge, which is over 30 times more shock absorbent than pads. The hard frame and springs on traditional trampolines can only be hidden and slightly softened by pads. Pads not only wear and tear but lose much of their shock absorbing property after only a few impacts.
The patented Springfree™ Trampoline FlexiNet™ enclosure has flexible supports to cushion jumpers and prevent falls. The jumper is directed back to the centre, and cannot make contact with the flexi rods. Traditional enclosures are supported by hard metal poles that you'd be lucky not to hit if you were to fall. Traditional enclosures may stop jumpers falling off, but in doing so, either directs them into rigid steel poles or straight down onto the springs and frame.
Springfree™ Trampoline's flexible enclosure is held by strong reinforced joiners tested to hold the jumper weight ratings. Traditional joiners often need additional support.
Springfree Trampoline uses unique "raschel" knitting technology, similar to that used in deep sea fishing. Unlike old style enclosure nets, small holes or cuts do not 'run' into large tears. Springfree's FlexiNet is designed to be taut, and guides wayward jumpers back to the centre of the trampoline instead of directing them down onto the edge. The Springfree FlexiNet is also zippered to ensure jumpers can't fall through the opening, and with a lock, parents can control who's on and when.
